Wearable Screen-Printed Sculpture

Performance activation at the Latex Ball at Terminal 5, New York, NY.

This moment was part of my journey in the ballroom scene in New York City. I was a member of the House of Ninja for two years.

During this time I walked the creative wearable art category of "Bizarre." This experience helped shaped my understanding of queer culture's impact on wearable art and sculptural activations.

I create intricate plush sculptural forms made from screen-printed satin. These sets of feminized body armor are inspired by anime robots and samurai regalia.  I designed my armor with luxurious satin screen prints sewn into plush, angular forms.
